How to Avoid Letting Stress Block Your Abundance
Filed Under Think Rich Club
Improving the quality of our thoughts and beliefs can help attract better experiences into our lives, but this does not mean that the outer aspects of our lives will magically transform into perfect order and we will live “happily ever after”. Despite a positive attitude there will always be things we cannot control, like the actions of other people for example.
The true gift of a positive mindset is the ability to better handle life’s irritating details. Our reaction to those details is what often determines the final outcome. Reacting with anger and frustration only fuels the negative energy and keeps it going. Keeping our composure and staying positive, on the other hand, is often enough to inspire creative solutions and contribute to the formation of pleasant surprises later.
The Art of Mental Transformation
If you are like most people, you try to avoid suffering at all costs – but you can also use unpleasant circumstances as a great starting point for creating something better. One of the best ways to do this would be to use your moments of suffering (frustration, fear, pain, and so on) as an opportunity to focus your thoughts on something better that you would like to attract.
For example, if your financial situation is stressful right now, you can use those feelings as a starting place for what you would rather experience. Instead of fighting against your feelings you might say, “Right now I feel frightened and frustrated, but I would much rather feel peaceful and secure about my finances.” Then focus on feeling peaceful and secure for a few minutes. Over time you will begin to shift your dominant focus and attract circumstances that will keep reinforcing your feelings of peace and security.
Let Go of Blame
As you look at your current life circumstances, do you feel tempted to blame their existence on other people, companies, or forces beyond your control? Like most people, you may want to resist believing that you are the only one who has created these conditions. However, there is an easy way to accept this possibility without blame or self-recrimination: By reminding yourself that the creation process is largely subconscious for the majority of us.
Now that you are learning more about the way your thoughts and feelings affect your physical reality, you are in a much better position to consciously create your life from this point on. But you cannot berate yourself for not knowing better in the past. Taking responsibility for your life is not about self-blame. Instead, see it as an opportunity to choose something better because you now have the knowledge and strength to do so.
